New Year, New Designs!

Wow, what a great year 2016 turned out to be! We only went live in June but the planning and design was well underway at the beginning of the year. I want to say a big thanks for all the support so far!

Over the last 6 months we have contributed to a fantastic competition with local estate agents Elliot Heath in Ware, and we’ve been introduced to Bedfordshire Beard Co who now stock our beard combs and bottle openers next to their fantastic range of hand blended oils. We have also had the pleasure of meeting lots of faces at two local markets, one in Hertford the other in St Albans, and we’ve joined up with my local barbers Hudsons Hair to display our wooden bow ties, beard combs & bottle openers. The last 6 months has also seen me add 4 new designs to our product range, (the ring tree, copper vase, wooden planter and the geometric oak vase) which have all received great reviews!

So yes 2017 already has a lot to live up to!

I’m currently designing a coffee table, a stool and pair of bedside tables. The plan is to only make a limited number of each before I change the design and make another limited number, and so on. There are a few reasons for this; one is that I’m not trying to take on large companies that churn out vast numbers of the exact same piece of furniture. I want to be known for my design and quality of work, so by numbering each piece by hand and branding with my logo, I want to give people the chance to own something special that has a story behind it. The fact it’s been designed from scratch & then handmade in Hertford by one person, I think gives my homeware and furniture that special feature that I hope others will find exciting to own.

At the very end of last year I posted some pictures of a watch stand (my latest design). It received great feed back on social media, I even had 5 orders placed the week before Christmas!
